A chain snatching incident created panic among residents in the Palasa–Kasibugga area when unidentified bike-borne offenders allegedly targeted a woman and fled with her gold chain. The incident occurred during the evening hours on a busy local road, catching passersby by surprise.
According to eyewitnesses, two suspects riding a motorcycle approached the victim from behind and swiftly snatched the gold chain from her neck before speeding away. The sudden attack left the woman shocked and caused minor injuries during the struggle.
